Miriam has over twenty-five years of global experience as a registered nurse in Ireland, UK
& Australia. Specialising in Occupational Health and Vocational Rehabilitation. Miriam has
nursed in both private and public hospitals in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and
New Zealand and industries including Hospitals, Schools, Rail, Corporate, Insurance, Food Manufacturing and IT.

Miriam is the Director of Liffey Consultants an Irish-based company started in 2019 with
offices in Newbridge, Co Kildare. The business operates two distinct workstreams namely the technical and people workstreams. The technical workstream led by Paul specialises in
project management, asset management, maintenance engineering.

The people workstream led by Miriam specialises in the case managing of complex long to
short-term sickness absence, return-to-work programs, vocational rehabilitation, occupational health, and risk management and can provide an extensive range of safety-related training. Also, the development of Health & Wellbeing programs.

Miriam has a wide range of experience in Occupational Health and Vocational Rehabilitation and has successfully managed hundreds of vocational cases, including complex Injury management, work claims and Rehabilitation and return to work, working with several external agencies, i.e., insurance, WorkSafe, and Allied Health professionals.
