Catherine is an Occupational Therapist with over 30 years experience, who has worked as a case manager for people with catastrophic injuries for over 14 years. She specialises in working with people with complex neurological challenges and as no two days are alike when it comes to case management she advised “Amongst other things, I has supported people to recruit and manage carers in their own homes, written and over seen the writing of care plans, advised on and sourced therapists to provide the best type of therapy to engage in to optimise outcomes, supported people and their families to negotiate with equipment providers. I have reviewed and made recommendations on housing adaptations as well as supporting people to create return to work or education plans and overseen following those through. I have arranged holidays abroad and relocated people from one country to another, ensuring they had the best medical and therapy support available to them”
